About Nina

Nina Haffer, a biotechnologist and PhD(c), is a Strategy Consultant at Dierks+Company.

She has worked as a research associate at the Berlin Institute of Health@Charité with expertise in interoperability. At the Institute for Medical Informatics, she researched the interoperability of DiGAs. She was also involved in the standardization of research databases for GenomDE and used her knowledge in data formats for microservices in AI-supported intelligent tutoring systems. She has a leading role in the Diversity Project Group of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology as her research focuses heavily on biases in medical data and Social Determinants of Health. In the Medical Informatics Initiative, she is responsible for the information modeling of the national core dataset for research data in various modules and is in charge of the Patient Reported Outcomes module and the Mental Health module. She is also the youngest member in Germany's Interop Council's circle of experts.

Her technical expertise as an interoperability expert and biotechnological background combined with artistic and creative streak as a former music producer and digital artist give her a broad range of know-how. This allows her to combine skills from a wide variety of fields.
