About Nicole
Nicole joins Dierks+Company for the final phase of her legal clerkship.
She was born in Berlin, but relocated to Oldenburg after graduating from the University of Potsdam. Her previous experience includes working for the Medical Ethics Committee of the University of Oldenburg, as well as two major international law firms, Morrison Foerster in Berlin and Hogan Lovells in Hamburg. The majority of her work has been advising national and international companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries on intellectual property law, commercial contracts, licensing, and regulatory issues related to research, development, marketing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
As a healthcare enthusiast, Nicole is fascinated by the sector's constantly changing developments, strong research-based impulses, political influences, and complex regulatory environment. With a background in IP and IT Law, she is particular interested in digital health developments.
